Brushes help colors go on more smoothly and keep the oils from your fingers out of your powder shadows and blushes.
To clean them I recommend dishsoap for synthetic brushes and either baby shampoo, your shampoo or your cleanser for
natural fiber brushes.
The reason I love synthetic brushes so much is that they're really soft in texture, they don't absorb pigments they way natural brushes do
and they're anti-bacterial.

The lipophilic molecules act like a magnet to dirt in the skin; once the molecules encounter the dirt, they cling to it and allow it to be washed off.
